Most of us are now on day 15 of being "shut-in". How has life changed for you?

One big difference for the homeschool community is the homeschool conferences. So many homeschool conference choices! They normally kick off in the spring and go through the summer. Every one of one them, this year, is online. No on-location ones this year.

Homeschooling can be very challenging, even frightening, to a parent new to educating their children at home. Even veteran homeschool parents come across new challenges. We all need some guidance every now and then.

I am very passionate about homeschooling and love sharing what I have learned during my 22 plus years of teaching my four children at home. How may I help you today?

1. There are no perfect parents.
2. My approach to screens/smartphones truly does matter and can shape my children's' minds and lives.
3. I must be the first authority on sex and pornography for my child -- Always bringing it up earlier than I actually think I should too. Because the world speaks loudly.
4. The minute I check out on my kids, they will see it and reciprocate.
