Shipping and Rental Returns
We ship via United States Postal Service. If you would like us to ship outside of the 48 continental United States please email us. Contact us and tell us what you would like to order and the shipping address. We will give you the overseas rate and help you with your order.

Orders usually leave our warehouse within 2 days of your order being placed. Orders placed in August or September may take up to 7 days to leave our warehouse. When choosing media mail, please remember that delivery can take anywhere from 2-10 business days.
Return shipping will be reimbursed to you after we receive the rentals. Directions below

You, the customer, are responsible for sending the rentals back to us by the rental due date or before. Please return all products that are due at the same time in one shipment.There are two ways you can return the books to us:
1.Go to your closest Post Office and return the books in the same box that you received them in or choose your own box. You may pick up a priority mail boxes at the post office The boxes are free but the shipping cost is much more! If you choose to return your books priority mail, remember, we only reimburse for the media mail, plus tracking costs.
You may choose to send the products by parcel post or media mail. But PLEASE include tracking information if you send them this way. (These options have to be sent through your local post office.)
2.Go to USPS.COM. Click on "ship a package" then "print shipping label" click the "print shipping label now button". Register for an account or log in to your account. Follow directions to mail a package.
Please pay for tracking. You can get tracking on any of the USPS mailing options.
When we receive the books, we will refund your shipping cost, via check in the mail, PayPal (if you have an account and request it), or a Yellow House Book Rental discount code. The choice is yours. The refund will be the media mail or parcel post rate (unless we specifically asked for priority mail return). Please include your preference on reimbursement with your return if you wish to be refunded.
3.We would greatly appreciate an email to contact@YellowHouseBookRental.com giving us the tracking information and letting us know that the rentals are on their way to us.
4. If you choose to send using another form of shipping, other than the post office, to return your books, it will need to be sent with tracking information. You will be only be reimbursed the USPS rate.
Please include shipping reimbursement instructions when you return your rentals, with your reimbursement preference. If you have misplaced the instructions, just include a note stating whether you would like a refund or a YHBR credit.
If we do not receive rentals within 10 business days of due date, a refund for shipping will not be made.
Satisfaction Guaranteed Return Policy
Books may be returned to us within 7 days for a full refund if the book(s) is not received in the condition that was described. You will need to contact us for a return shipping label.
If you would like to extend your rental for another month, please contact us with your request, at least one week prior to your rental due date. A one-month extension fee is 10% of the current rental price.
Late returnsIf your book is not received with a postmark of the due date or earlier, we will automatically extend your textbook rental period by 15 days and charge you a 30% rental price, extension fee. If the textbook is still not received with a postmark of the extension due date or an earlier date, you will be charged the purchase price (as of the time of rental). You may keep the book(s) once you have been charged the buyout price. Please email us with any concerns or rental extension requests. We are happy to help when at all possible.
