Music is so very powerful and a great confidence builder to children who learn how to play an instrument and become good at it. It may take a little bit of experimenting with different instruments, but if they have musical ability, whether it be through voice or instrument, you can help them find it.
At our Yellow Schoolhouse and home, our children tried, voice, piano, trumpet, and guitar and a little dabbling with drums. Our youngest found her musical ability through dance. Although it is not an instrument, the ability to feel the music is very much needed. They each found their favorite and are using it still today in their adult lives
Enjoy this read from Martha Reineke as you learn how to add th power of music to your homeschool!
