1. There are no perfect parents. 
2. My approach to screens/smartphones truly does matter and can shape my children's' minds and lives.
3. I must be the first authority on sex and pornography for my child -- Always bringing it up earlier than I actually think I should too. Because the world speaks loudly.

Why We Chose Sonlight Curriculum

Until I started homeschooling I didn't realize how much I loved history. I know I learned a few things about history during my public school years, but nothing sticks out in my mind other than learning the States Song in 5th grade.
