Did you know your homeschool teen (or your young adult child) can earn six college credits in just two weeks? Well, maybe not two weeks, but how about 8 weeks?

You may be asking yourself "How did they do that?" There are actually many ways to earn college credits faster than your typical one semester class:

  1. Self-paced courses
  2. Competency-based exam
  3. Portfolio assessments
  4. Professional studies programs

Self-paced courses can be taken at an accelerated pace. Credit by exam lets them receive credit for knowledge you obtained outside of the classroom by passing a test (it’s also as cheap as $33 a credit). Portfolio assessments and professional studies allow them to use prior and current professional, military, religious, and even hobbying experience for credit.

All of these methods help your student kick start or complete their bachelor’s degree faster. And Lumerit wants to help them do just that.

Lumerit has helped thousands of students from all 50 states use these methods to knock out their bachelor’s degree in as little as two years.

Do you think your high school student would like to graduate from college in two years? It is possible, especially if they begin while in high school. Homeschooling high school make this such an easy option!

I have used Lumerit and these methods with three of my high school children. One graduated college in three years the other will graduate next year, having done so in three years. It would have been possible for them to do it in less than three. The speed in which your child can graduate all depends on your child and what they want to accomplish. Do they have a degree choice? How much time do they have time to devote to, or are willing to spend on college classes? These are just a few factors that will play into the time in which they can earn college credit while in high school and complete a college degree.

Wheather they can shave off 2 years or one semester, they are ahead of the game and closer to achieving their dreams and they will have saved thousands of dollars in the process.

Enjoying the journey,
